Mesotherapy is a technique used in aesthetic medicine to increase hydration in the superficial layers of the skin. It can be done using an injection gun (V2 Injector) comprising nine micro-needles that inject the desired dermal filler (hyaluronic acid, Redensity I, RH1, or platelet-rich plasma) into the epidermis/dermis at a specific depth.
This injection technique provides immediate and lasting results; it improves skin density and prevents the signs of aging. The benefits of this treatment include:
- Skin hydration
- Strengthening of the dermo-epidermal junction
- Antioxidant action
- Densification of the papillary dermis and tightening effect
- Firmer skin and brighter complexion
Prior to the injection, a numbing cream can be applied to the treatment area for 20–25 minutes to ensure the procedure is more comfortable for the patient.
The treatment area is then cleaned and disinfected. The mesotherapy gun (V2 Injector) is used to deliver the injectable at the desired depth. The gun’s suction effect helps to regulate injection depth and minimize discomfort during the treatment. The product injected, the depth of the injection, the amount injected and the speed of injection are determined by the physician/nurse based on their assessment of the area to be treated and the desired results.
Following the treatment, a repair balm is applied and patients can return to their daily activities within a few hours. An aftercare kit is provided to patients after treatment to ensure the best possible results.
Results depend on many factors and can vary from one person to the next. For optimal results, follow the recommendations of Clinique DGB (lifestyle / sun protection / regenerative balm).
