Dr. Blackburn first completed her bachelor's degree in pharmacy before obtaining her medical doctorate from the University of Montreal in 2006. Her spontaneity and efficiency led her to practice as an emergency physician in Montreal for eight years. Her patients highly valued her compassionate nature and approachability.

In 2009, she began a joint practice in aesthetic medicine, where she leveraged her attention to detail and vision of beauty. At that time, she practiced solo and built a loyal clientele in a welcoming atmosphere. The DGB Clinic was born in a remodeled loft, known for its discretion, which her patients greatly respected.

In 2015, Dr. Blackburn chose to exclusively focus on aesthetic medicine to refine her techniques with the goal of offering a personalized approach. Her mission was to bring out the best in each patient, recognizing that every form of beauty is unique. Already considered a pioneer, she gained recognition through numerous publications, radio shows, documentaries, and web series. The DGB Clinic became renowned throughout Quebec for its commitment to personalization and quality upheld by the growing team.

Always seeking new challenges, Dr. Geneviève Blackburn opened a second location for the DGB Clinic in the Bromont area in early 2021 while maintaining a holistic, individual-centered vision. Her team shares her values and the pursuit of new projects aimed at meeting the evolving and current needs of the population.

DR. YARA ASBAR

General practitioner practicing in Aesthetic Medicine

Dr. Yara Asbar holds a doctorate in medicine from the University of Montreal and is a graduate of the College of Family Physicians of Canada. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine and has been practicing in this field since 2014.

Dr. Asbar is a passionate and dedicated professional, with a keen attention to detail. Her primary goal is to enhance the natural beauty of her patients by leveraging her in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy and her artistic sensibility. She creates personalized treatment plans to accentuate the unique features of each individual. Her compassionate and empathetic nature allows her to take the time to understand the concerns, expectations, and desires of her patients.

Furthermore, Dr. Asbar shares her expertise as a trainer for the College of Physicians of Quebec, helping numerous physicians further their skills in the field of aesthetic medicine. Her dedication to her profession, along with her warm and approachable demeanor, has solidified her reputation as a respected and valued figure in the field of aesthetic medicine.

CAMILLE LABELLE, B.Sc.Inf.

Nurse Injector

Camille Labelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of Montreal. She first established her practice in cardiology for a few years before moving into the medical aesthetic field.

Fascinated by the skin, she then attended various training sessions on dermocosmetology and anti-aging therapies before starting her practice in injectables. Camille joined the team at Clinique DGB Médispa Victoria Park Old Montreal during 2018, where she has established her expertise by maintaining a preventive approach to aging and keeping a natural eye on beauty.

Her passion for teaching led her to join Dr. Blackburn in innovating through the Montreal Institute of Aesthetic Medicine, where dozens of professionals are trained each year.

Camille aims to maintain a constant update of her practice and to stay on top of medical-aesthetic advances, which is why she seizes every opportunity to attend numerous conferences and trainings around the globe.

Her desire to help others having guided her towards the nursing profession, Camille found her vocation in aesthetic medicine. ALEXANDRA MARCIL

Coordinator for Dr. Blackburn

Alexandra is a beautician and was trained at the Edith Serei Academy. After a few years of practice, she changed her field and moved into catering, hospitality and events.

She joined the DGB clinic team in August 2018. She currently serves as the Medical Coordinator for Dr. Blackburn as well as Dr. Blackburn's teaching institute (IMEM).

Alexandra stands out with her strong personality, professionalism and charisma.

JESSICA VILLENEUVE

Operation Assistant

Jessica has over 15 years of experience in customer service. She has been working at the Old Montreal clinic for almost 4 years. Her professionalism and charisma are greatly appreciated by patients. Organized and proactive, she also plays a key role in the management of the clinic.

ALEXANDRA LAROSE

Medical Assistant / Nurse Injector

Meet Alexandra, the newest addition to the clinic. A nurse since 2018, she joins the team with a beautiful background that allows her to grasp the needs of each individual.

With a gentle and warm approach, Alexandra approaches each patient without judgment, putting them at ease from the first moments.

She works alongside Dr. Blackburn on a daily basis, refining her practice every day. Alexandra keeps abreast of the latest advances in medical aesthetic care in order to provide the best possible treatments for patients.

Her addition to the clinic is a great asset to the patients and the team.

CHLÉA DUBOIS

General Manager

As the central point of contact within the DGB Médispa Victoria Park Old Montreal clinic, Chléa oversees operations efficiently and seamlessly. Having originally joined the team in 2017, she returns in 2020, after almost two years in Australia; a very rewarding personal experience!

Upon her return home, she oversaw the opening of the DGB DGB Médispa Victoria Park Bromont clinic in 2021. In the same year, she took over as Project Manager of the Arca Zygomatica Academy, one of Dr. Blackburn's latest projects.

Her strong empathy, team spirit and management skills contribute to the implementation and maintenance of a positive organizational culture and to the achievement of results.

NAOMI ARVELO

Team Leader / Medical Technician

A graduate in aesthetics from the École des métiers des Faubourgs-de-Montréal in 2017, Naomi has been specializing in skin treatments for over 2 years at Clinique DGB Médispa Victoria Park Old Montreal.

Her ability to create an environment that is both professional and welcoming has earned her the trust of her patients. Dedicated to making a positive impact on the well-being of others, Naomi is known for her ability to move mountains... with gentleness.

CATHERINE BÉDARD

Operations Assistant

A graduate in public communications from Laval University, Catherine has over 10 years of experience in the hospitality and event industry.

She joined the Old Montreal clinic over two years ago. Having always been interested in the medical-aesthetic field, the change of branch was natural.
