Skin lifting technology (Ultherapy)

Our approach

What is Ultherapy?

Skin laxity, whether linked to menopause, changes in the lower face or weight loss, may be treated without surgery. Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound to heat deeper skin layers and stimulate collagen production.

We focus on two complementary areas:

  • Face and neck (jawline and platysmal bands) : Ultrasound targets the lower face and neck to refine the jawline and address skin laxity.

  • Eye area (brows and eyelids) : Targeted treatment along the brow can lift its appearance and soften fine lines around the eyes.

benefits

Treatment goals

Non-surgical ultrasound lifting (Ultherapy)

Ultherapy targets deeper tissue layers to address laxity, refine facial contours and give the eye area a more open appearance.

The technique:

Integrated ultrasound imaging guides focused energy to depths of 1.5, 3 and 4.5 mm. Small points of controlled heat prompt initial contraction and gradual collagen renewal.

Benefits:

  • A lifting effect that develops over the following months.

  • No incisions, injections or downtime.

  • Targets deeper structures also addressed in surgical lifting.

effects & longevity

Expected results

Immediate effect

An immediate tightening sensation may be noticeable after treatment as existing collagen contracts.

Evolution :

Temporary redness or swelling may last from a few hours to a few days. Results generally develop over two to six months as new collagen forms.

Duration:

One session is generally enough to start the collagen renewal process. Results last an average of 12 to 18 months; maintenance depends on how your skin ages.

FAQ

Your questions, answered

I’ve read that I can’t have a facelift after Ultherapy. Is that true?

No. Ultherapy does not prevent you from having a surgical facelift later if you want or need one. They can complement each other: Ultherapy stimulates collagen and may slow some signs of laxity, while surgery is generally more effective for significant sagging. Plastic surgeons routinely operate on patients who have previously had Ultherapy or other collagen-stimulating treatments. Maintaining skin quality over time may also help support tissue health before future surgery. Your needs can change, so an individual assessment is the best way to plan each step.

I’ve read that Ultherapy melts facial fat. Is that true?

Usually, no. Reports of facial volume loss after Ultherapy may reflect other factors rather than fat loss caused by the device: Natural ageing over time. Weight loss after treatment. Assessment months or years later. An unsuitable plan or patient selection. For carefully selected patients, Ultherapy aims to firm tissue and refine contours while preserving natural volume. A personal assessment helps determine the right approach for each face.

Can Ultherapy replace a surgical facelift?

No. Ultherapy suits mild to moderate laxity. For significant excess skin, a consultation can determine whether surgery is more appropriate.

How many sessions are needed?

One session is generally enough to stimulate collagen production. Maintenance may be considered every 12 to 18 months, depending on your goals and natural skin ageing.

Does it hurt?

Ultrasound may feel warm or tingly. Pain relief can be tailored to your comfort.

What precautions should I take after treatment?

No special precautions are needed, though we recommend avoiding prolonged sun exposure and using sunscreen for the following days.
