Treatment of deep dark circles
Some people are genetically more susceptible to developing dark circles at a young age. The normal aging process also causes a loss of fatty tissue around the eye, which generally results in deeper dark circles. Fillers made of hyaluronic acid, a sugar naturally produced by the body, are gel-form products that can be injected to volumize an area or restore lost volume over time.
There are fillers (Restylane®, Teosyal®) designed specifically for this delicate area. The skin around the eyes is the thinner than in other areas of the face, which is why it requires particular attention and a specialized product. The procedure lasts approximately 30 minutes. The results are visible immediately, but the optimal effect is obtained in the weeks following the procedure. Slight swelling and the possibility of slight bruising should be expected immediately after the treatment. Treatment effectiveness lasts on average 12 to 24 months.

Treatment of bluish discoloration of dark circles
When a person presents with a bluish discoloration of their dark circles, it is ideal to work on the pigmentation before even thinking about filling in the crease of the dark circles. In fact, patients are often satisfied when the bluish discoloration is reduced because it has a direct impact on the general appearance of the eyes. Do you want to look less tired? Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) works directly on the bluish discolouration around the eye. PRP is an autologous serum, and therefore produced by your own body. A blood sample is taken, certain blood components are filtered out, and then the final product, which is the platelet-rich plasma, is injected directly into the crease of the dark circle. The growth factors present in the platelets decrease the bluish appearance by optimizing blood circulation and increasing the quality of the skin around the eyes. In general, an initial protocol of three to six treatments is recommended. Optimal results take an average of six weeks to be achieved after each treatment. Treatment effectiveness lasts on average between 8 and 18 months.

Treatment of fine lines around the eyes
Is the skin around your eyes seeming progressively more "wrinkled"? Over time, the thinnest skin of the face being located around the eyes, loses its elasticity and density due to the decrease in collagen production, which allows fine lines to become more and more apparent. On the one hand, a safe micro-needling technique can be used in this area to induce biostimulation and therefore increase collagen production. On the other hand, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), an autologous serum, i.e. made from your own blood, contains the growth factors necessary for skin regeneration. This serum also acts by optimizing blood circulation and increasing the quality of the skin around the eyes.
These two techniques are combined to provide optimal results regarding the quality of the periorbital skin. In general, an initial protocol of three to six treatments is recommended. Optimal results take an average of six weeks to be achieved after each treatment. Treatment effectiveness lasts on average 12 to 18 months.
